THE 16TH INTERNATIONAL INTERDISCIPLINARY CONFERENCE ON THE ENVIRONMENT

Abstract Deadline: July 2, 2010

The Interdisciplinary Environmental Association, committed to an interdisciplinary approach to environmental issues, is now accepting submissions of papers and posters for the 2010 conference. We welcome research that crosses the boundaries of traditional disciplines to frame environmental problems, propose working models, or address field, community, or academic issues. While any interdisciplinary environmental topic is welcome, areas of special interest in 2010 include:

  • Impacts of Development on Scarce Resources
  • Being "Green" in a Recession
  • Water in a Thirsty World
  • Environmental Impacts of Tourism
  • Latin American Environmental Issues
  • Policy, Economics, and Climate Change
  • Campus Environmental Initiatives
  • The Economics of Sustainability
  • CONTINUING SPECIAL TOPIC: Accreditation of Environmental Programs
